Last week we all started a new adventure. Morning routine changed, you no longer wake up naturally like you normally do. Thankfully you have accepted this change with minimal complaint.
I hear you're enjoying your time in school. You even bid farewell to your daddy quite easily before you walk into your new classroom with confidence, knowing that you now belong. This is just a reminder to me that you're growing up faster than I would like. What happened to my little boy?
Today you are 2. As I sit here watching you sleep, I couldn't have imagined a more perfect baby couple years back. You have inherited your father's fair skin, bushy, wavy reddish hair, my nose, and definitely my stubborn attitude. Your eyelashes are still up for debate, but I forsee them swooning many ladies in the future.
You will be missed grandma Betty. I'd like to think that someday, in addition to sharing your name, I will share some of your wonderful qualities.
Thank you for all your homemade cards, always remembering ALL of our birthdays and special occasions, Jonas' sweater and booties that we'll cherish forever, and giving my husband, your grandson, such wonderful childhood memories.
